Tip Day Thursday Carnival: Special Edition

Special Edition:  Link up your favorite game day treats, main dishes, veggies, fruits, etc.

Anyone can play as long as you link directly to your post that includes a tip related to cooking, food, kitchen prep, and even ways to keep the kids entertained while cooking counts. Really anything kitchen or food related is fine.

Please try to include some sort of tip in your post. Lots of us really enjoy all the tips and I’d love to get this carnival back to that if possible. I bet you have a great tip to add!

Please use common carnival courtesy when joining by linking back to this post in your entry.  Also, feel free to grab my button on the right. Pretty simple, don’t ya think!

I hope to highlight my favorite tip from all the ones listed each week in the following weeks TDT, so make ‘em good!  If you don’t link back to the carnival you may be deleted and you won’t be featured the following week.  I had to go through several links before I found one that linked back.

Here’s my favorite from last week: Nave Family Food who posted a wonderful Ham and Cheese Puff Pastry.  This would be a great game day dish!    Thanks for sharing Vicki!

Please take a moment and check out some of the other great tips and recipes that are linked up and of course please check out my favorite from last week!

Thank you for hosting. I shared my cinnamon noodle kugel recipe. You can substitute lower fat versions of the sour cream and cottage cheese. You can also use any noodle you have on hand. I generally use what I bought on sale.

We’re going to be colder than usual on game day and recovering from an ice storm. How about a big pot of soup?

  8. ok…apparently I got the whole name thing wrong when I linked to this but my tip is in regards to covering a non ovenproof handle with foil before putting a skillet into the oven when you make a frittata. Sorry. This is my first time. Here is the link to the post: http://mykitchenadventures1.blogspot.com/2011/01/potato-leek-frittata.html
