My family and I were given the opportunity to try a selection of Applegate Farms meats. We had previously tried some of their meat when my daughter was strict Feingold diet, so we were really excited to try some of their other products. Applegate Farms sent us a wide variety of meats. We tried the bacon, capicola ham, sausage, and chicken strips.
Applegate Farms organic and natural meats are antibiotic free, minimally processed, nitrate-free, and hormone-free. What other meat company can say all that?!?!?!
We loved it all, but the bacon was by far some of the best bacon we have tried in a really long time. I don’t really want to admit it, but I think we ate the whole package one morning with breakfast (I have another package hidden in the freezer for a breakfast surprise). It tasted like what I remember bacon tasting like. And the capicola ham…oh my goodness. It was a little bit spicy and made a wonderful sandwich. Hubbyman came up with a tasty sandwich late one night that I can’t wait to share with everyone.
Applegate Farms meats can be found at Whole Foods, Super Target, Wild Oats, Kroger, on their site (with free shipping on orders over $100), and more. Check out Applegate Farms on Facebook, Twitter, or their site.
