In reply to Danielle. Yes, you would add the egg replacer in the mix at the same time as their instructions say to add the eggs. And then just continue to follow the rest of my instructions. :)

If the brownie calls for eggs and butter and I want to make it vegan-do I make the box mix with the egg replacer and then add the egg replacer listed in the recipe to the pumpkin mix?

Hi Paige,

I haven’t made this exact recipe using applesauce as a replacer, but I know in general you can substitute applesauce for egg in many recipes. Here is a little guide I wrote about using egg substitutes in different recipes.
