Hi Jess. I don’t see why it wouldn’t work. You just wouldn’t get the “fire” flavor from the grill using the air fryer. A gas grill totally works…we’ve done them that way before. w-

Thank you for this recipe. I made these the other day and they were delicious! (Even when I forgot to put the rub on! DOH!)
We have an annual festival here in San Antonio (FIESTA) that was cancelled due to the pandemic and my hubs loves to get a turkey leg once a year. I surprised him with these homemade legs! He loved it! I will for sure make these again and again! (with the rub!)
