Hi! Thank you for the interesting article. I switched from dairy to almond milk about a year ago ( I don’t like the taste of soy milk but almond is great). I am very intrigued by the possibility of making my own milk. The nutramilk is quite expensive, though. Have you used something similar? Or can recommend something similar? Or is the nutramilk definitely worth the investment? Thanks for your help!

I like the sound of this. I honestly have never heard of this machine to make nutmilks or butters both of which I love. I know it is better for me than dairy and I dont drink much of it anyway.This creamer to me sounds delicious. I drink a litle coffee with my creamer 🙂
I might have to look into this method. This was educational and a great post.

In reply to Becca. Thanks Becca! Is imitation coconut extract not good for you either...that's what I used. The other way I made this was with cocoa powder, sugar, and peppermint extract for a Peppermint Mocha version. w-

I LOVE the idea of making my own almond milk! Not just for saving money, but because I know exactly what’s going into it. I also love the thought of making my own creamers… but being allergic to coconut means this recipe will need some tweaking for me to be able to make it. 😉
