Yeah, I could see how thinned frosting would be messy. Try the candy melts and then move up to real chocolate…both versions on my site. Trust me…you’ll wonder why you tried the frosting. 😉

I made some cake balls (next time I’ll call them truffles, too!) and followed the recipe–using thinned frosting to coat. They were a mess to eat (but oh-so-good!). Next time I’ll use melted choc or vanilla chips to coat.
