In reply to Rosa. Hi Rosa, I don't think melted butter alone will keep it from sticking to the pan. You might try butter + a little cake mix (like you'd do with flour) or just line the pan with parchment. w-

In reply to Russ. Why do you want to add applesauce? Usually applesauce can take the place of eggs in a recipe, but with so few ingredients I'm not 100% sure it would work. You could always give it a try. The other thing is if you want more of an apple cake, then swap the bananas for the applesauce. w-
