The Best Cookbooks to Gift

I love giving gifts and I love flipping through the pages of cookbooks to find the best cookbook to give as a gift! I’ve started a list of my favorite books to gift these days and I’ll keep adding to the list as I find more.

When I’m shopping for a cookbook, I first try to find one that the receiver will love. Something they have talked about, something similar to a meal they ordered when we went out to eat, something they feel passionate about, etc. If I still can’t find the perfect book, I scroll through my list of favorites and gift a favorite.

Cookbooks with Simple Recipes

Cookbooks with simple recipes are the only ones that make it into my house! I’m busy and I don’t have time to fuss over meals with two kids that need to rushed to various activities every.single.day of the week.

I think you’ll love the cookbooks that I’ve added to this list. They are all some of my favorite cookbooks and by authors I know I can trust to give great advice, simple recipes, and don’t use a ton of hard-to-find ingredients.

What to Gift with a Cookbook

When I have the budget, I love to give something a little extra besides just a cookbook. I’ll add my favorite kitchen utensil with a ribbon, something that goes with the book. Here are few that gift all the time:

But when the gift is for a very close family member or friend I try to buy something bigger or even my favorite appliance to go with the book.

Even just turning the cookbook into a cute gift basket with a couple gourmet food items that I love along with and utensil turns out super cute.

Best Cookbooks to Gift

Without further ado…here is my list for some awesome cookbooks to gift to anyone who loves to cook or try new recipes. Whether the gift is for Christmas, a birthday, or Father’s day there is something on this list for everyone.
