I’ve had the pleasure of following Ellen’s blog, Confessions of an Over-Worked Mom, for over a year now. We’ve gotten to know each other online in a couple of blogger support groups…haha…that sounds bad. Really we just support each other and have a place to ask questions. Ellen helps moms find eco-friendly solutions and time-saving products. She focuses on recipes, crafts, fashion and fitness. I hope you have been following all the popcorn posts this month…if you didn’t already know…October is National Popped Corn Month. Check out all the great ideas so far and keep reading for Ellen’s wonderful Maple Harvest Popcorn recipe.
Autumn in Vermont means pumpkins and apples. It means cool nights sitting next to the woodstove with a big bowl of popcorn enjoying a movie or two with your friends and family. Since our neighbor sugars our maple trees for us in the spring, we always have a huge supply of maple syrup. I decided to combine some of my favorite tastes to come up with this Maple Harvest Popcorn recipe. This popcorn recipe also makes a great tailgating recipe for football fans.
