Picoso…a Mexican Cocktail

This drink was different and it too came from the same article in my local paper. It kind of reminded me of a margarita, but with a little kick. It was really easy to make. Hubbyman and I couldn’t decide if we liked it or not. So, I leave it up for y’all to decide.

Picoso
2 oz (4 tbls) fresh cut pineapple
1 serrano chili, seeded and diced
1 oz (2 tbls) fresh lime juice
1 oz (2 tbls) simple syrup
2 oz tequila
ice

In a small mixing bowl, mash up pineapple and serrano. Add the pinapple-serrano mixture to a cocktail mixer. Add remaining ingredients. Shake well and serve over ice.

Hmmm…love me a margarita but this sounds intriguing. Would be willing to give it a try!
