Whether you are a die-hard Star Wars fan or a new fan, you will love this malted milkshake. I attended a media preview of the new movie Star Wars: The Force Awakens and the dark side is definitely present in the movie so if your little padawan is fan of the dark side then you have to make this milkshake.

What’s not to love about ice cream, chocolate, and malt. And a huge dollop of whip cream, more chocolate, and an malt ball for garnish and you’ll have one heck of a dessert! It’s the perfect addition to any Star Wars party.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup malt chocolate balls
  • 4 cups vanilla ice cream
  • 1/2-2/3 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 cup chocolate syrup
  • whipped cream

Instructions

  1. In a heavy duty blender, add malt balls and chop into a fine powder. Add ice cream and 1/2 cup milk and process until combined and creamy. If it's too thick add a little milk and if it's too thin add more ice cream.
  2. In tall parfait glass, swirl chocolate syrup around the glass. Gently pour milkshake into the center of the glass to keep the swirl in tact. Add a huge dollop of whipped cream, drizzle with more chocolate syrup and top with an extra malt ball or two.
