We have family parties all the time and love to have friends over for dinner. I love cooking for other people, but sometimes I love to let people create their own masterpieces…like with a hot dog bar, nacho station, or these fun pizza fixin’s bar party ideas.
I was already planning on having family over on Sunday, but after the drama of our house almost burning down on Saturday I decided to keep the party relatively simple. Basically, I purged my fridge and came up with some awesome pizza ideas using the new Flatout Pizza Bread. It has like 7g of protein and only 150 calories per flatbread. So they are really pretty healthy.
I had traditional goodies on hand too for the kids (and the adults) who didn’t want to get creative. The flatbreads really made quick work of everyone’s pizza. Hubbyman pre-cooked one side on the grill before everyone arrived, so everyone just had to top their pizzas and throw it back on the grill for a couple more minutes. We used a pizza stone on the grill, but it’s not necessary.
Here are the four fabulous pizzas we created:
- Greek Pizza
- Carne Asada Pizza
- Chicken Fajita Pizza
- BBQ Pork Pizza
Greek Pizza
Topping Suggestions for the Greek Pizza:
- garlic olive oil
- feta
- black olives
- kalamata olives
- spinach
- onions, peppers, tomatoes
- gyro meat
- tzatziki sauce
Carne Asada Pizza
Topping Suggestions for the Carne Asada Pizza:
- garlic olive oil
- carne asada meat (or thinly sliced cooked steak)
- caramelized onions
- green onions
- shredded mozerella cheese
Chicken Fajita Pizza
Topping Suggestions for the Chicken Fajita Pizza:
- pizza/tomato sauce
- fajita chicken meat
- jalapenos (fresh or pickled)
- mexican blend shredded cheese
- bacon bits
- veggies
BBQ Pork Pizza
Topping Suggestions for the BBQ Pork Pizza:
- garlic olive oil
- caramelized onions
- bbq pork
- slices of mozzarella cheese
- drizzle of blue cheese dressing

Just yesterday I wrote in my notebook of blog ideas “Pizza bar? Sliders?” Meaning this idea. I have a specific photo set up in my mind, but seeing these recipes ideas makes me want to do it now! Great idea for football Sundays!

The Greek Pizza sounds awesome! I love gyros so I bet I would love Pizza with lamb meat. And I love the idea of cooking them on the grill! I saw it done once and it looked delicious but haven’t tried it myself yet.

Great looking pizza bar you have there. I prefer to make my own pizzas too that way you can add what you want or as much as you want. Any concoctin you can dream up. I never thought of making pizzas with flat breads tho but I sure am going to try them that way. Thanks for the recipe ideas.

The BBQ pork pizza sounds really good.
I definately am going to make the Carne Asada Pizza its sounds like my favor from a local pizza shop. But why pay for delivery when I can make it at home for myself since I have the recipe now. The chicken fajita pize sounds like a easy winner to make for the guys on a football watching day. This flatbread pizza will spice up their game. Tho I will eat it with out the peppers as my stomach doesnt handle them to well I could use red sweet peppers on mine – Yum : )

I could make the Greek pizza’s for my friends as I do not like gyro’s or black olives so I would pass on this kind of pizza tho I know they will love it.Thanks for the recipe tho. I will try it the next party we have.

Flatbreads are great for pizza’s and sandwiches. We use them alot. Just do like the above and put out different things to put in them . Eat them cold or hot. The flavored flatbreads I would like to try them.

Carne Asada pizza sort of sounds like the local pizza shops but the difference is more cheese. Real easy recipe to make something even the kids can do . I would use chopped steak meat on mine too.

I like flatbread but I have never tried the flavored ones which I think will add so much to the flavor . I like to make sandwiches with them also or else heat them with chicken , cheese, and tomatoes just like pizza only rolled up; So many possiblities to do with them

This is usually how we make flat bread pizza.
Pulled BBQ pork is really popular now so this kind of pizza should be just a delicious on flatbreads. The recipe is easy and quick to make . It would make a good dinner on a night you dont have alot of time to prepare a big supper. Thanks for the great recipes for pizza’s
