Smooth and Spicy Mexican Hot Cocoa Fudge
When I was on my fudge kick a couple weeks ago, I was also craving a spicy cocoa then I thought….this would make an amazing fudge! Everyone really seemed to love the spicy kick of the fudge, especially because it’s just a tad different than all of my sweet gourmet fudge recipes.
The fudge is so easy to make, you can enjoy the spicy chocolate fudge recipe any time the spicy-sweet tooth hits you.
- 14 oz sweetened condensed milk
- 3 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- pinch of salt
- Heat milk in a microwave safe bowl for 1 minute. Place chocolate chips in a large glass bowl and pour warm milk over the chocolate. Let sit for 30 seconds-1 minute. Stir mixture until the chocolate is fully melted and incorporated with the milk. Add vanilla, cayenne, cinnamon, and salt.
- Pour into an 8x8 baking dish that has been lined with parchment paper or foil. (If you really love spicy foods, sprinkle extra cayenne on the top of the fudge.) Place in refrigerator for several hours to firm. Once firm, remove from pan and cut into 64 pieces.
