I think it’s safe to say everyone is going back to school soon! So now the question becomes what to feed these hungry kids when they get home from a busy day at school….right moms? It can be a tough decision because it’s often really close to supper time. I know that if I let my kids have cookies or chips they will just eat and eat and then spoil their supper, but I feel good about offering one of these 10 Healthy After School Snacks.

10 Healthy After School Snacks you can feel good about giving your kids!

These are all great snack ideas. I serve celery sticks with peanut butter, apple slices, or Whonu? Cookies.

These are some great snack ideas. I really think kids need a snack before starting homework! They need a little blood sugar boost. Apples and pb are the best!

My daughter likes cottage cheese over a rice cake with some nuts on top. She also likes peanut butter and honey toast.

    Very healthy snacking options.
I like to give my kids something nutritious, though I want to make the healthy stuff as ‘palatable’ for them as possible. (There’s so much junk food they eat all the time anyways)
Glad to know there are more moms who rack their brains over it as well.:)
Let me add here for the benefit of readers that peanut butter, bananas and oatmeal are wonderful foods for building stamina as well. Need I add about the goodness of fruits and veggies.
Thank you, Wendy for sharing those wonderful snacking ideas!
